We all know the feeling. You walk into a room and are instantly overwhelmed by the amount of stuff. Where do you even start? If you’re like most people, you probably don’t have a lot of extra time to dedicate to decluttering. That’s why we’re here to help! In this blog post, we’ll give you some tips on how to declutter a room in just 30 minutes.

Declutter A Room In 30 Minutes

1. Create A Plan Of Action

The first step is to create a plan of action. What needs to be done in order to declutter the room?

Make a list of all the tasks that need to be completed, then prioritize them from most important to least important. This will help you focus your efforts and make the most of your time.

Your tasks may include picking up toys, organizing pictures on a shelf or fixing books on a bookcase.

2. Set A Timer For 30 Minutes

Once you have your list of tasks, set a timer for 30 minutes and get started! Work through the list as quickly as possible, taking breaks only when absolutely necessary.

Remember, the goal is to get the job done in 30 minutes or less!

3. Focus On One Area At A Time

It can be tempting to try and tackle everything at once, but this will only lead to frustration. Instead, focus on one area at a time and move on when the timer runs out.

When I am decluttering, I choose an area to work on at a time, such as a corner with a bunch of bins of kid’s toys. I focus on getting all of the toys back into their appropriate bins instead of running around picking up every item I see.

Then I move onto another area, such as the TV stand or end tables. This was I can work throughout the room in an organized way.

4. Don’t Be Afraid To Get Help

If you’re having trouble getting started or feel like you’re getting overwhelmed, don’t be afraid to ask for help from family or friends.

And if you are really in a bind getting yourself and home back on track, you can always look into a home cleaning service. Many offer just a one-time cleaning or organizing service to help you out!

They can lend a hand and make the process go by much smoother!

Start decluttering!

We hope these tips were helpful in teaching you how to declutter a room in just 30 minutes! Remember, the key is to create a plan of action, set a timer, and focus on one area at a time.

And if you need an extra set of hands, don’t hesitate to ask for help from family or friends. Good luck!
